The Carlisle Inn, a brand new four-story, 85,000 square-foot project, which broke ground in November 2016, is a four-story hotel located in the Pinecraft neighborhood in beautiful Sarasota, FL. Featuring 98 hotel rooms, three large meeting rooms, café, pool, fitness facility and a luxury lounge.

A special thanks to TANDEM CONSTRUCTION for bringing Service Contracting into this project!

“We’re trying to create more of a destination for people so that they can have an experience that’s more than just food,” said Mike Palmer, president of Dutchman Hospitality. “This is about family time, quality time and community time.”

While the hotel emphasizes Amish and Mennonite values, the property has many modern amenities such as the meeting space which has the technology needed for businesses and groups to give presentations, as well as its guest rooms being equipped with internet and television.

SCS had the pleasure of working on this project providing quality exterior and interior painting, waterproofing, and unique interior wallcovering to really make this work of art stand out in the industry.

Tandem Construction was behind the main structure of the building. The building boasts concrete masonry exterior walls and hollow core precast concrete floors. The traditional shallow foundations are set on soil enhanced by Vibro-replacement columns.

Providing a quality roof over the heads of Carlisle’s visitors is Sutter Roofing. The roof is a low slope TPO with a standing seam metal roof at the extended gables.

Being only a few rooms shy of being booked at full capacity its first weekend, the Carlisle Inn is now open to the public. We encourage you to stop in and admire the hard work put into this project by our fellow contractors, as well as our AMAZING TEAM here at Service Contracting Solutions! It is truly a beautiful addition to the Sarasota area.
